Leaving on Sunday: How does this Look?

cheapeatstochiceats | Jul 13, 2012 08:25 AM

We are leaving on Sunday for a week long trip to NYC.
Here is what I have planned so far.

Sun: Peasant
Mon: The NoMad
Tues: Breakfast: Maialino
Dinner: Plan on going to Txixito (can't make reservation)
Wed: Oceana before show
Thurs: Lunch: Manzo
Dinner: ????
Fri: Dell'Anima
Sat: Brunch-Locanda Verde
Dinner: Recette
Sun: Brunch: Minetta Tavern

I don't have breakfast or lunch planned for every day because I want it to be more leisurely and I don't want to be tied down every day. I do have a large list of places in each neighborhood so I think we are going to work off of that.

Thursday dinner is the only night that I just couldn't find something for. I would really like to do something more Asian influenced since I am missing that. My other traveler is not a big fan of Thai or Japanese, but does like Chinese. I was thinking of Red Farm but I cannot make reservations there either. Thoughts??

Also we are staying at The Standard in the Meatpacking District. I do have a list of places to eat breakfast in that area, but does anyone have a favorite cafe etc. for breakfast? Doesn't have to be over the top, just good solid breakfast food.

Thanks! I will definitely be reporting back on all of these.
