Leaving eggs out

Today I left some eggs out, to bring to room temperature for baking. I didn't get to baking until just now, and the eggs were out (still in shells) in my hot kitchen for hours and hours.

Can I bake with them and will the brownies be safe to eat?

Please say yes, because I just baked them, and used good quality chocolate.
