Reading New Yorker I discover that Le Zinc (which I recommended a couple of weeks ago, oops!), has now morphed into Blaue Gans, at the hands of Wallse owner, Kurt Guttenbruner.
Le Zinc was Karen & David Walltuck's bistro version of their wonderful Chanterelle. It was good, but apart from the bar, never really hit its stride. It possibly found it hard to compete with the Odeon, around the corner, for a similar clientele. (Not to mention Petite Abeille).
Any reports on Blaue Gans?
