Le Petit Jardin

Encouraged by the favorable review a week or so ago on this site, me and a friend drove out to Le Petit Jardin to try their french style roast chicken and fries.
I wholeheartedly agree with the reviewer. The chicken was excellent. 1/2 Chick, crispy skin, extremely flavorful without being overseasoned, moist meat. The french fries were great too - skinny and crispy like bistro fries should be (imo).

Dinner for two, we both got the roast chicken and a soft drink and my friend got a soup as an appetizer, came to about 30 bucks including tip. They don't serve wine but some other table was drinking a bottle so i assume they let you bring your own.

The decor is understated, the place doubles as a flower shop but the arrangement seems more functional than decorative.

The proprietors are a couple. She runs the flower shop and waits tables, he does the cooking. They were very friendly. Its the type of place you like to frequent because you feel like the owners treat you like a regular from the first time you go.

Dinner last night reminded me of why I'm so loyal to this board. Great food, low prices, unique charm. Its a real find.

Thanks to person who originally reviewed it.
