Le Creuset braiser or saute pan/skillet?

spoonfuloflove | May 13, 201705:34 PM     27

I have a Lodge 10" cast iron skillet and I absolutely love it and started thinking about getting an enameled cast iron for tomato sauces and de-glazing. ATK recommended Le Creuset 12" fry pan but I saw many low rating reviews regarding foods getting stuck in it. An other option would be the LC braiser or the LC deep skillet.

What's the difference between the two? Which would be a better option for my needs (most searing, pan frying, and adding/making sauces)? Why is the braiser lighter colored and the skillet darker colored inside? Which is better in terms of being "non-stick"?

BTW I do have a 5.5qt LC dutch oven.

Thank you!
