I'm a little bit internet phobic but as a born and bred montreal foodie (perhaps "eater' is more apt) i'm so pleased to find this fabulous site. Tonight we ate at le bleu raisin after reading about it here and were quite happy. Quick review: The salmon app was perfect (with a little salmon caviar and choux) but I agree with a previous post that the cheese in the mushroom and escargot dish killed it. Of the mains the only disappointment was the deer. I love game meat but this was so fatty/tough It took me a half hour to finish 5 bites! Not sure if it was the cuisson or the cut. Lamb and scallops were excellent. The saint honore cheesecake was runny, unique and eaten up quickly. bill was 150 for three all included and we drank a light cab from chile (18 bucks if i recall) Forget the name but it has a bicycle on it and is organic--lots of nose, fresh tasting, heavy enough for me but light enough for the food. It was a decent meal, not as good as montee du lait or 5ieme peche but has the byob advantage.
