TJ's is now stocking three-packs of little chocolate bars -- each bar is 1.65 ounces -- for $1.19 in the Boston area. They have dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and milk chocolate with hazelnuts. The packages are marked "Product of Belgium," although there's no indication of the actual maker. I've tried the dark chocolate and it's quite pleasing. About 56% cocoa, so not super-intense, but a very smooth and clean chocolate flavor. The texture is *very* creamy, possibly due partly to "milk fat" on the ingredient list, which is something I've never seen in a dark chocolate. The taste is fairly similar to the blocks of ghirardelli that TJ's also sells. At the price, it's a great deal.
I've also tried the milk choc. with Hazelnuts and thought it was pretty nice, although less interesting.
Anybody else tried? I noticed these in the last few months; don't know how long they've actually had them.
