late Sunday lite dinner Fisherman's Wharf area

Wanda | Dec 8, 200507:44 AM     3

Hi, We are arriving in San Francisco fairly late on Sunday and staying in the Fisherman's Wharf area. We are looking for a good, not too pricey ethnic restaurant nearby, as we will likely be too tired to travel any distance--Mexican, southwestern, any other Latin, Caribbean, Indian/central Asian, Far Eastern (other than Japanese), French, Spanish, German, eastern European, Greek, are all fine with us; we are not very interested in pizza or pasta. Any recs much appreciated. Also, is it safe to walk there at night on a Sunday (2 females)? Thanks!
