I moved to the corner of jackson/powell about one month ago. I love my new neighborhood and refer to it as "the chinanob". But I am having a hard time getting my produce, because I work until 7pm, and it seems that the entire neighborhood closes down at 6.
I found a market on *top* of russian hill that's open till midnight, but would prefer to not have to climb 150 ft just to get some last-minute scallions.
Do any chowhounds know of a market in chinatown that stays open till, 9pm? heck, i'd be happy to find one open till 8 at this point.
