I'm sure the question has been posed a zillion times, but I couldn't seem to find a helpful post in the recent past.
Unfortunately, I'm going to be doing most of my chowing with convention folks, jibber-jabbering over cocktails while eating some crappy coconut shrimp and swedish meatballs. But I'd like to sneak away from the crowd and get in a meal on my own.
So much of what's near the Conv.Center/Strip is high-end, New American cuisine with plates that come in cool shapes and colorful sauces drizzled all around. Or there's the 5-mile long buffets. I'd like to get some eats that are local favorites, of any cuisine, and moderately priced (~$25 mains). Reasonable cab-fare distance, say, like $10. Will be dining solo, so bar-dining is preferable, or small hole-in-the-wall places where it doesn't matter.
I'll probably do my damndest to get my In'n'Out fix for lunch one day, over on Industrial.
LOS will likely not happen, since I'll most probably be dining solo.
I hope I'm not asking for too much, but I imagine there's something that fits the bill.
