We went to Las Locas (the new Tex-Mex restaurant on 19th and Chestnut) Friday night.
Nice big menu with a vegetarian section (makes me happy). Most entrees come with your choice of two sides, including refried beans, black beans, fried plantains, and chipotle coleslaw. The chipotle coleslaw was particularly yummy.
They brought nice hot chips with salsa as soon as we were seated.
I had the chili relleno for my main course. Huge chilis, served hot so the cheese was totally melted, with a really good spicy red sauce. My husband had the 4 enchilada platter, with cheese, bean, chicken and beef enchiladas. He enjoyed it, although complained that since it came piled with lettuce, sour cream, etc, he couldn't tell where each enchilada was.
Service was insanely slow (20 minutes wait after we'd decided what we wanted before the waiter took our order), and they were out of a lot of things, which I attribute to it still being quite new. I will definitely go again.
