Larry's Chili Dog

WildSwede | Mar 3, 2006 06:39 PM

Stopped by today at lunch (around 3:45) since I was in the area. Ordered a chili-cheese dog, chili-cheese fries (well done) and a medium Barqs Rootbeer. $8.08 + $1 in tip jar, $9.08 total.
I took a bite out of the hotdog and was immediately transported back to the mid-70’s at Pappa John’s which used to be on the southwest corner of Hazeltine and Victory. This is the place that I first had and fell in love with chili!!
WOW! What a great hot dog. $2.89. Nice snap and flavor. So good! Chili fries were okay, but I thought way overpriced for what you got ($3.29 for not a whole lot). But still really good.
I will definitely be back for those chili dogs. Thank you to all of you who recommended it!!
