lardo and mostarda!

i just moved back to new york after living in italy for a year and a half, and there are two things i became addicted to there that i haven't been able to find here yet:

lardo di colonnata (i'd be happy to either buy it myself or have bruschette or a plate of salumi in a restaurant)

mostarda -- the mustardy condiment that you eat with cheese -- i've found the kind in a jar that is whole fruits (cherries, oranges, etc.) within a syrup but what i'm really looking for is the homemade kind that is more the consistency of chutney (ie. all ground up). i've seen approximations, but nothing's had the sharp taste of the excellent mostarda i've eaten in italy...

thanks in advance for any ideas....
