I am getting nowhere on the Seattle board fishing for recommendations on these two cuisines, nor even getting moral support once I found some restaurants on my own. So here I am, bamboo hat in hand, asking for info on either of these cuisines...or any similar ones. I am more-or-less up to speed on Thai and Vietnamese, have slight experience with Burmese and Nepali, and know precious little of anything else from that part of Asia (not considering Indian or Indonesian to be quite "in that part"). I see Lao or Cambodian in front of my eyes, so that's where I'm gonna start.
Could people recommend what DISHES I should be trying?
