Finally after reading about the Langers 19 on chowhound for something like 2 years I finally dropped in and ordered one to go. Parked on the street about a block away, walked down, for some reason it reminded me of walking around London England when I lived there in 95, must have been the day after those hard rains we have been having. Well went to the counter and ordered the 19, asked for hand cut and waited about 5 mins. The place was hopping with customers. I had a acupunture appointment that I was running late for so I ate it in the car. What can I say other than that sandwich was totally Awesome. The bread is excellent, hard crust, the meat was perfect, all around most amazing, the salad stuff they use is great as is the russian dressing. I saw mustard on the tables, does it go well with the sandwich? I like the hot mustard at philips but didnt try the Langers one. If you have never tried the 19 Langers , do yourself a favor and check it out.
The tamale place around the corner from Langers is pretty good to if you have never been, Ive eaten there 3 or 4 times.
