I moved back to NYC recently after several years living in Sydney. We regularly purchased lamb backstraps at our butcher or grocery store. It is a very tender boneless lamb cut that marinates beautifully and then tastes great on the bbq. Since we have moved back to NYC, I can't seem to find it anywhere I have looked - even Lobel's. Has anyone seen this particular lamb cut in NYC? Any suggestions on butchers who might know what I am talking about?
