Lakeville/Salisbury CT--news and Qs

We tried the newish sit-down Chinese in Lakeville and it was dreadful. It was raining out and I really wanted that pot-of-Chinese-tea, cornball menu experience. The food was gross--very sweet so-called Thai seafood hotpot, and a fried fish, again with sticky sweet sauce all over it, cold rice, and surly service. Second time I've been in a restaurant recently where they are yelling at eachother in other languages, as if the customers can't hear.

The natural foods store nearby seems to have shrunk in half and carry only vitamins and processed foods. Yick. It's got a new owner from Rome.

I've heard great things about the tomato pie at Chai Walla in Salisbury. They are not yet open for the season, I think. Anyone have any info on that pie or their schedule?
