A drive through the neighborhood of Clinton (home of Near East bakery and those really delicious spicy spinach pies)over the weekend gave me an idea for a summer project: testing the many offerings of lake trout and fried chicken here in Baltimore. Because there are so many establishments in different areas of the city, I was hoping for some chowhound recommendations for favorite places to begin. I know that there is a sizable cluster on York Rd. but wouldn't know where to begin beyond that. Thoughts?
