Pizza Tempo is a local fast food establishment . They have two locations right now. We find the Rockville location slightly better than the Kensington location, but both are good. Both locations are inside gas stations (a Liberty gas station in Rockville and I think an Exxon in Kensington) and there are only one or two tables if you wish to dine-in, but I feel this just adds to the appeal. :)
Being Turkish-owned, they have some interesting items on the menu. We only really order two items from here. One, the Lahmahcun. I have no idea if it's authentic, and probably not because they make it on a very thin pizza dough, but it is absolutely delicious. They give you lettuce, tomato, and onions to top it, and some lemon to squeeze on top. The second item is their Tempo Pide, it's sort of like a boat shaped lahmahcun. I'm sure there are other good things on the menu, but we drive from Baltimore, and always end up getting the lahmacun and tempo pide.
Please be aware that the website has not been updated to reflect the closure of their Bethesda location. The gas station in Bethesda where they were located was bought by a developer.
