I have a friend, who due to circumstance, has lately been diagnosed as profoundly lactose and polysaturated fat intolerant. It has taken two years for this to be diagnosed. He now cannot eat red meat or pork,and is more or less stuck with fish and chicken for his animal protein.
Are there any nutritionists here who can point me to a source of recipes for people suffering this affliction, or otherwise provide me with something I can give this person, who is not on the internet himself? He is not a dedicated chowhound, or greatly accomplished cook, but is willing to try anything to escape from his culinary boredom, which is greatly depressing him.
He is also losing weight at an alarming rate, so we need to provide him with something to put a bit of meat back on his bones. Winter here in southern Oz gets quite cold!! Cheers.
