A couple of doors down from Casa Sanchez taqueria. I think this place has been open about a year and I seem to remember reading that it was started by the Casa Sanchez bookeeper. Anyway, I've tried it a few times and the tortas are the stuff that cravings are made of. My favorite is the pollo milanese. This sandwich has the perfect balance of crispy chicken and grilled bread, a savory shmear of refried beans, salty queso Qaxaca, creamy avocado, and hot jalapenos. These guys know how to put together a sandwich perfectly every time. You order from a window on the street and you can sit at one of two tables on the sidewalk in the midst of the seedy or joyous family oriented scene on 24th (depending on the day). I've also tried the Cubano (with hot dogs sliced lengthwise) and the carnitas. All are good, but the pollo milanese shines. Bring a friend and share one.
