Maybe this is a more appropriate topic on the Media board but I don't know if every PBS outlet does Saturday afternoon cooking shows the way LA area channels 28 and 58 do.
I'm curious if anyone thinks the Foodtv lineup is more informative or interesting than the Saturday afternoon food shows on PBS.
In my opinion the PBS shows (Ming, Lidia, Rick Bayless, Made in Spain, America's Test Kitchen, Best Recipes in the World, etc.) are so superior to anything that doesn't include Alton Brown on Foodtv that it barely warrants comparison.
Just wondering if this is generally a shared opinion or if there is a core that would disagree.
