we went for christmas eve. lovely as usual. no strolling french accordian player this year. i had a green salad and the venison with quince and fois gras. very niiiice! the sides of green bean and scaloped potatos are lame though. my spouse had the christmas goose also with fois gras. her sides were much better...home runs! chanterelles/giblet dressing and an indian white corn pudding. we drank a very reasonably priced '97 pomerol, didn't catch the name of the estate but it was fine. price? less than $100 minus the tip.
