la hound in ny to try flushing chinese cuisine.. where to go?

i have been coming to new york for a couple of years now .... have stayed for months at a time and have always gone to chinatown for chinese food, primarily big wong for their very good roast duck and wonton and ice cream at the place on bayard st.....tried amazing 66 across the street but didnt like it, sorry.....

i am ready to try flushing and need some recs .....ambience is just secondary to good food......most of what i have read here so far gives me the probably wrong impression that a lot of places seem to be of the sichuan type cuisine.....i am not into, in fact would like to avoid hot/spicy cuisine......i.e. will 41-28 main st. only be hot spicy in their selections or will they have non-spicy as well.....would like to go there but am not sure if i will be able to order something......i think i prefer cantonese (hongkong) ....if 41-28 has non spicy then maybe i should be starting there ....any comments i am sure will be helpful.
