I have a few ideas lined up, though much will depend on the unpredictable schedule and geography of each day, so I have to leave much open to circumstance but likely spots are Ciano (a dinner someone else selected), breakfast at Maialino, Del Posto or Jean Georges prix fixe, Russ and Daughters, and ?
1) thoughts on El Quinto Pino vs Tia Pol.
2) And, I have one dinner I am planning for 5 in either midtown or slighter higher. We need to eat early - 6:30 - and I can't decide between Ma Peche and Sakagura. I have been to Ssam bar and like it very much but I also love traditional Izakaya. My dining companions are not as food-driven as I am and a bit more conventional. The main point of that meal is to be comfortable, to be able to sit and talk and drink, all while keeping me culinarily happy. Thanks for any thoughts...
