La Fachada

The truck at La Fachada is no more, falling victim to the county's nitpicky health dept. rules and regs. They now serve tacos, gorditas, mulitas etc. from the kitchen to some tables out in the back end of the parking area. The frijoles de la olla, grilled onions and jalapenos survive as well as the good food, but the character that was brought about by the truck is gone.

A sign posted by the cajera tells us that the truck is now available from 7pm to 2:30am at 26th and Imperial. Still a treasure, but sumpin' sumpin' is missing now without the truck and unique awning butting onto the sidewalk.
