La Cachette, consistently rated as one of the top French restaurants in LA, occasionally does special vegan menus. These are included in the chef/owner Jean Francois Meteigner's new cookbook.
There was a cookbook signing at Surfas yesterday, and I got some great ideas from the chef for his vegan adaptations in order to deal with my extensive food allergies.
But since I hadn't had the actual meals as a comparison, I'm kinda flying blind. Anyone have any experience with these? Friends who've had the regular menu love the food.
