In case anyone is in the market for a caterer...
This past Shabbos we celebrated our son's Bar Mitzvah at a hotel in NJ. Chap-A-Nosh from Cedarhurst did the catering. I chose to use them because Avi, the person in charge of catering, sounded like such a doll on the phone and convinced me that he really wanted the job.
Our next Bar Mitzvah is in 14 months and you can be sure Avi will be catering it. The food was delicious, the presentation was stunning, the staff was seamless, we didn't even know they were there. Even the hotel commented on what a professionally gorgeous job they did. I am usually a control freak, and meddle in every last detail. I'm not sure why (though that is probably why it came out as well as it did) but when Avi asked me what I wanted for menus, colors I wanted for tablecloths, did I want this or that I just said "Avi, just make me a beautiful Shabbos." He did.
Two friends who were with us who are planning their own simchos, decided to call Avi instead of the caterers they had been planning to use. If anyone has gotten this far, I assume a Mazel Tov is in order. Be assured, Chap-A-Nosh (Cedarhurst not Brooklyn) will only enhance your simcha.
