Korean Springtime BBQ Restaurant

razordog | Apr 12, 200502:42 PM     9

I was craving some good Korean kalbi so we went to Korean Springtime BBQ Restaurant in Santa Clara, located at 1062 Kiely Blvd. This place is better than any place in SF or the Eastbay for Korean style bbq.

The quality of the meat was very good, cut thinly and nicely marinated. You have the option of letting the restaurant grill it or you can grill it over charcoal (not gas).

An order of kalbi is $18.99 and comes with dehn jang (bean paste) jigae which is also very good.

The banchan is just ok otherwise, just the usual standards, but they do give you pickled daikon radish sliced into cross-sections, so you can use that to wrap your meat with also.

Unfortunately, due to poor ventilation, your clothes and hair will smell like meat.
