Korean Grilled Shortribs

Just picked up a couple of pounds of short ribs that were cut for bbqing and im looking to do them in the classic fashion. Does anyone have a good recipe for it? Ive seen a few by searching on google but i just want to know of peoples tried and true versions. Also what is the name of the thick sauce that usually accompanies it in the restaurants?
