I just got back from Seoul, Korea. Now I'm thinking about the BBQ dinner that I had at 63 Roof Garden (??) with real charcoal. I love the kalbi (2 kinds) without marinate, and they come with a few different kinds of leaves (besides lettuce) for wraps. And the cold noodle soup was the best I've ever had--the chewiness of the noodle was just right, and the soup so flavorful! I was also served a persimmon for dessert--almost transparent and you eat it with a spoon. I was told it's frozen since the previous autumn. It was so delicious!!!
I know there are a few restaurants here using charcoal. Who has the best meat and special side dishes in your opinion?
p.s. Loved the sesame leaves for wraps. Any place serving it?
