Koglin Royal Hams at GCT closed. Now what?

Bryant Frazer | Jan 31, 201012:46 PM

My go-to provider of bratwurst, knackwurst, and those delicious spicy krainer sausages was Koglin Royal Hams at Grand Central Terminal. My wife just called, despondent, to report that her Sunday sausage run was unsuccessful, as Koglin is in the process of clearing out its space in the Grand Central Market. (They're apparently selling the last of the salamis and other goods out of crates at unfixed prices on a kind of honor system.)

Where can we get similar, good-quality German-style meats in Manhattan? (Preferably easily accessible on the 4/5 subway line between Fulton Street downtown and Grand Central but I'm willing to travel.)
