Ko-Hi-Noor, again, in Yorktown

I am going to post another message about Ko-Hi-Noor in hopes that other people will post about their tips and experience with ordering here.

I again ordered (because I love it so much) the Hydrabadi Mirchi chicken. It is a naturally spicy dish but I ordered it extra spicy. Boy was it spicy but in a perfect kind of way. It didn't over power the spices or taste. It is such a phenomenal dish!

I also ordered the lamb samosas which I didn't like that much. They tend to put raisins and nuts (almonds and cashews) in their food such as the samosas and the plain basmati rice,which is given with each dish. I don't like nuts or raising in my 'savory' foods so I have a problem with this. My solution for the rice is to get the meal as takeout and make my own naan and rice at home.

I know if I don't get any recommendations from other chowhounders I will always only order the Hydrabadi chicken. This is so not chowhounding, but why take a chance on another dish when I know I will be ecstatic with the usual?

I hope to get some good rec's on other dishes!
