knife sharpening

Jupiter | Oct 29, 2003 05:48 PM

There are two knife shops on Columbus avenue that specialize in Sharpening. One of them is Columbus Cutlery (next to busters across from the Stinking Rose)
and the other one i don't know the name of but is across from Figaro next to what used to be Pinocchio's.
Which one is better for knife sharpening? (i.e. which one can i trust to do a good job?) time and money are not really factors, just as long as they don't grind my knife down to nothing. (as i have seen some places do with some of my friends knives.)

Also, how do these places compare with Drewe's Brothers? and i can't remember now, but i thought the last time i was in Tower i noticed that they sharpened knives there as well, but i could be completely mistaken on that one.

so, anyway, jsut searching for suggestions.
