Knife Scratches [moved from Not About Food board]

My brother gave me a whet stone to sharpen my knives. With bit of practice I now get a nice edge on my Wusthof knives. But, I now have these tiny scratches on the side of the blade. Mostly, if not entirely, an aesthetic issue, but does anyone know what might remove these?

Any other good knife advice?
