Kitchenaid Pro 600 vs Pro Line Series 7 Mixers?

Aston01 | Jan 31, 202003:18 PM     4

I need to replace an old Kitchenaid K5SS stand mixer and I am trying to decide between the Pro 600 & Pro Line Series. I've borrowed a new Kitchenaid 5qt tilt head and while it works fine in general, one of the main things I use a mixer for is pizza dough and I'm a little concerned about the low-speed grunt of the motor if the Pro 600 shares a similar motor.

The Pro Line Series just isn't as common as the other models so I'm trying to determine if the better motor is going to be noticeably better for things like dough?
