Run, do not walk to yet another small creative open kitchen concept eatery with the taste buds of giant chef Eli Kulp (of Fork fame) at the helm.
The four of us ooh'd and aah'd last night as one delicious presentation after another arrived at the table.
I had the lamb rack which was delicious. Our table shared an awesome beet appetizer, followed by a yummy for-the-table grilled leeks, and a unique flavored squash bread the likes of which we all thought was the best doggone bread we'd ever tasted -- anywhere.
The two gents shared the dover sole and deemed it excellent. My friend got the beef tartar after devouring her appetizer of kale salad.
These small venues tend to get noisy but by arriving at 6:30 for dinner, we managed to skirt around the loudest of it.
Ellin Yin, former owner of Fork stopped by to ask if all was okay. We enthusiastically gave her our thumbs-up approval.
Top this all off with the knowledgeable (and darned good looking) Kevin as our wait person and we're ready to return for another go again very soon.
