Kiss my grits !!

Having spent a few years as a kid in NC and with a SC-native mom that loves grits, I've been around a couple grit blocks in my time. I never get tired of the classic with good butter, salt, and pepper. But I really enjoyed the bleu cheese version at Swifts Attic that held their braised pork cheek dish. That's probably the best non-standard version I've had in austin. Any other favorites?

BTW, for those of you that haven't tried it, Swift's is a great brunch spot that provides a good value / portions. The one dollar mimosas (with grapefruit juice option too, outstanding) are refreshing and the food was great. SO had the quail tenders with a cheese biscuit and arugula salad. think…best chicken tenders you've had +1. the biscuit was really cheesy, too. I'd get the wine / port reduction gravy on the side though, next time. The rest was pleasing.
