Why is the King East Petite Thuet so terrible?

The location on King just east of Sherbourne is near my work, so I've stopped by a few times in an attempt to buy lunch. They only ever have a few wrapped sandwiches (most I have seen is 5 available, and that's total, not 5 varieties). Once they had two prepared salads, and once one singular flatbread pizza. Everything seemed like it had been there awhile. I know they are bakery focused, but I have bought macarons at this location (also seemed old) and I've never seen anyone there buying bakery items. In fact, the place is almost always empty.

I don't think this is an issue of timing and them selling out of products. I have stopped by at 11 for lunch and still no product.

What is going on with this location? If it wasn't a Thuet I'd swear it was some kind of front.
