Kili report

Pietro | Feb 25, 2005 11:23 AM

Just a quick report about Kili, a bistro/bar in Boerum Hill. I went there last night to check out their fireplace in the snow storm--definitely the reason to go.

It's a nice neighborhood bar that appears to be thrown together at the last minute, which initially threw me off because I had read how trendy it was--it is not. The place grew on me, but the food is the worst I've had in the city in a long time. Don't go for the food. Had two tiny, shriveled up lamb sausages over lentils that were tasteless, watery and mushy (not to mention a very sparce dish). The rosemary chicken was a joke. Completely dried out chicken breast with only spinach for $13! Anyway, I would go back, but for drinks only!
