Kielbasa for Grilling

With over a foot of snow on the ground, I am naturally thinking of my next cookout. There is a place near me that makes their own kielbasa. They sell fresh and smoked. If I am going to grill it, which one should I get? I am thinking that it would be a waste to get the smoked since it is already cooked and the grilling process would alter the smoked flavor it already has.
