I posted on the California board and got scant response so here goes. Tomorrow I am taking some 4th graders to the La Purisima mission in Lompoc. Originally I'd aimed to get in 3 meals but have modified this to two. Am looking for a place to get a fun breakfast (around 10:00 a.m.) in the Santa Barbara vicinity. And after the mission trip I was thinking of an early dinner. I was considering the Hitching Post in Buellton but previous posts indicate it's on the mediocre side and not too kid friendly. Is it unrealistic for me to hope that in return for being stuck in the car all day with the little brats that at least I could enjoy a meal or two?
