Restaurants & Bars 13

Once a year I dedicate a Sunday night to copious amounts of Colonel Sanders' legendary fried chicken (as the ad typically states). This is an annual event for me, surrounded by many rituals, of which my girlfriend is both intrigued and yet dumbfounded, as this will be her first experience. I savor and anticipate eating the steroid grown chicken as much as I savor the braised short ribs from Daniel. My post is two-fold, of which I will be quite surprised if fellow chowhounds have an opinion on my first quandary:

1: I live in Turtle Bay, equi-distant from several KFC outposts (both North and South) and am not afraid to travel further if warranted. I typically pay homage to the KFC on 73rd Street and 2nd Ave. Does a recommendation exist for a better KFC for me to visit? Please note, the physicality’s of the KFC (i.e. cleanliness, fixtures, signage, etc.) are not a factor, as the “bucket” is transported back to my home for consumption.

2: Secondly, am I selling myself short, this City surely offers far superior fried chicken options, right? Please advise.
