Katsu Japanese Restaurant

Bob | Jul 29, 200311:55 AM

I went to Katsu Japanese Restaurant the other day looking for some really good Japanese cuisine---I was not dissapointed. The sashimi appetizer and California roll were both terrific. The high-quality of the fish was extremely evident -- the Toro melts in your mouth. In addition, I had the katsudon-deep fried pork cutlet. It was done to perfection being nice and crispy and virtually grease-free. The home-made berry gelato I had was a great way to finish the meal. The prices at Katsu are slightly higher than you might expect, but the portions are also much larger than you would normally find. The high-quality of the food alone could justify the price. The owner, as well as the staff were extremely friendly and efficient making the whole dining experience very pleasant. Anyone looking for a great evening of Japanese should head to Katsu.
