Kambu noodles are made from seaweed, while the konnyaku are a yam based. Both are low calorie, and supposedly take on the flavor of whatever they're cooked with.
I've ordered some packages of the kambu noodles, but can't seem to find the konnyaku on the web anywhere except at www.konnyaku.com where you have to buy 35 lbs or something outrageous. Does anyone know where to find these on the web? I've been searching for an hour, and I don't know of a good Japanese market close by to me in Palo Alto. Also, is it worth my struggling to find these? Do they taste good? How are the kambus as well?
