I’m looking for kaffir limes in NYC, either fresh or, ideally, packages of dried peel. I’ve dug through some (very old) threads and it looks like Bangkok Center Grocery is often recommended for Thai ingredients. Most discussions I’ve seen are focused on the leaves but I’m after the peel to use in curry pastes. I’ll try Bangkok Center Grocery soon but was hoping some of you might have some other suggestions for finding kaffir limes or peel. Bonus points if it’s a spot in lower Manhattan. Thanks!
