Josie's - review and question

Just went to Josie about a week (maybe two?) ago, and just haven't had time to post anything. Again a fantastic meal. We've been a few times and have enjoyed it immensely, but were not aware of their "free corkage Mondays" - How cool is that! Thought I'd share that with you all, but most of you probably already knew. If this is redundant, I apologize. We had a multi-course ad hoc tasting menu they put together for us. It was great... especially on such a short, ad hoc basis. Frank took really great care of us, and Josie came out herself to ask our preferences, likes/dislikes on the tasting menu. We had the amuse of mushroom quiche, then the menu went something like this: heirloom tomato salad w/burrata, mushroom w/puff pastry, tomato soup w/basil oil, scallops with mushrooms, roasted smoked quail (amazing), braised pork tenderloin with beans, cheese course, pot de creme for desert. REALLY GOOD STUFF. Fairly busy, but not too many empty tables for a Monday. We opened 2 of our own bottles and bought 1 full and 1 half bottle of the list, and the whole thing was around $500-$550 for the four of us w/o tip.... pretty good value in my book.

The question I had was... I was thinking of going to their wine tasting dinner tomorrow (if we can arrange babysitting), but hadn't been to one of their events in the past. The menu and wines looked quite good on the website. Has anyone been to these at Josie's? Please let me know. Thanks, and maybe we'll see you there!
