HELP! Jones for Tahiti's Open face Peach Cobbler

OK - Now I'm desperate. I waited for a year for Tahiti (W. 3rd St. near Fairfax) to re-open so that I could have another taste of their sublime Open Face Peach Cobbler with Bourbon Pecan Ice Cream (I know, I'm swooning as I write this).

Tahiti has now been replaced by another restaurant and I am still dying to have this dessert again. If anybody knows where the chef is or even how to get the recipe, I'll go to great lengths to get it - lol.

If no success on the Tahiti version, I'd gladly try anyplace that does peach cobbler with fresh peaches. Obviously this is time sensitive as peach season is rapidly coming to a close - and my pants aren't yet tight enough - lol.
