Joe's Diner [Santa Fe]

andrewtree | Apr 20, 201207:45 PM     1

A second visit yesterday, this time for dinner, confirmed very favourable impressions from lunching there some weeks ago. My chopped steak, NM grass fed/finished beef, cooked exactly as ordered, was huge, delicious and slathered in onions and mushrooms. Lots of choices of sides, the 'slaw and veg of the day, braised chard, zucchinni and carrots dressed with ghee were excellent accompaniments. My wife much enjoyed her gluten free pizza. Our shared chocolate mousse hit all the right notes, rich, chocolatey, not too sweet with a good crisp oreo crust. A couple of Marble beers on tap plus other good beer and wine choices. Service is friendly and efficient. The Rodeo Road location is not so handy but the quality and organic/locavore focus will bring us back pretty soon.
