New Joe Shanghai Chinese Restaurant
915 Arch Street
Philadelphia, PA 19107
Yellow fish is a type of fish (can't remember English language equivalent at the moment), not a preparation. They offer it cooked several ways.
Looks like they might have some more homey items, like those wonderfully slow-cooked bacon-slab casseroles. I have still yet to see sweet-rice stuffed lotus root on a menu in Philadelphia, however, but my impression is that these guys are so anxious to please, one might be able to special order in advance. To the Shanghai native who responded, why not see if we can organize an outing with a customized menu? Is anyone game?
